Ichhe Puran was founded in 2021 in response to Cyclone Yaas. We are a community-driven organization focused on environmental sustainability and helping underprivileged communities across India. We are also a member of the Rotary Community Corps of Rotary Calcutta Newbies, allowing us to expand our outreach and impact.

Our Impact
7,400 fruit plants distributed to farmers.
564 trees planted in school campuses.
Relief efforts during Cyclone Yash supported 450 families.
Over 625 children dressed and fed through our meal programs.
Saree (Cloth) distributed to 90 Mothers.
Creation of a Miyawaki Forest in Kolkata with 1,300 trees.
3,000 Raincoats and Mosquito Net Distributed to Rickshaw Pullers and Roadside Vendors.

Ichhe Puran is dedicated to serving marginalized communities and promoting environmental sustainability in the following regions:
West Bengal: South 24 Parganas ,Purba Medinipur and Puruliya districts.
Jharkhand: East Singhbhum district, specifically in Jadugora, Ghatshila, Mosabani, Dhalbhumgarh, and Potka blocks.
In these areas, we focus on identifying and supporting marginal farmers and have established collaborations with government schools to drive educational initiatives and empower local communities. Through these efforts, we aim to create sustainable livelihoods and enhance access to quality education.
